The August 2026 update introduces file uploads with built-in previews for PDFs, videos, audio, and text-based files, alongside a redesigned staff home page featuring instance insights and statistics.

This release also adds REST API blocks for technical documentation and introduces beta support for broken link detection and redirects, making content management and documentation migration easier.

Highlights

• Added support for File Uploads.

  • Files uploaded in PDF, MP4, MP3, Text based all have previews/embed views.

• A new staff home page now provides insights and statistics for the Docvora instance.

• REST API Blocks can now be inserted into the editor with an optional usage example in many languages in wide-view.

  • REST API Blocks are only availiable on Pro and Enterprise plans

• Added broken link detection as a beta which enables site administrators to redirect visitors to a correct documentation page. This is great if moving from another platform!
